Instructions for sending back your Inclusion Kit

Prep the Inclusions

Each Inclusion Kit contains clear instructions to help you with how to complete and return back with ease. You can also email if you have any questions.

Hair

The kit contains a sample bag for you to insert the lock of hair. The ideal length is between 2cm-8cm, which will provide us with enough hair to cast into your chosen piece. Tie the hair together to form a lock with a piece of thread to keep it nice and tidy when it is sent.

Umbilical Cord

Carefully cut a small piece of the cord with sharp scissors about the size of a small Pea. Please do not send the whole Cord. We will only need a small amount and can send back any unused cord. Place the cut cord into the sample pot provided in the Kit.

Breastmilk

Please send around 10ml of Milk in the Tubes provided. You might find it easier to hand express into a pot and then pour into the tubes. If using frozen milk, you can allow to defrost slightly and spoon the slushy milk into the tube.

Screw the lids on firmly but not over tightened or you may break the thread. Check that the pots don’t leak then put them in the clear labelled bag we have provided in your kit

Please do not send your last bit of breastmilk. Pure Rain Keepsakes will always advise to keep some milk in case of any circumstances that are beyond our control i.e postal issues (we have not had any issues to date).

Ready to send and with ease in mind!

Place all inclusions in the box provided and close the box. Place the sample box into the waterproof sleeve provided. 

Our Address is already on the sleeve for convenience. It will also have your address as return address (incase the sample is undeliverable for any reason).

The sleeve will contain a large letter stamp for you to pop straight into a Postbox taking the hassle out of the whole process.

 

 

 

 

 

Final points to note

It is advisable to upgrade the post to special delivery, particularly if this is the last of your milk and you only have a small amount saved back at home. If you chose to do this is it will be at your own cost, however the Post Office will deduct the cost of the stamp we have provided, so remember to ask for this. Please ensure you provide us with the tracking number if you decide to opt for this upgrade.

Please don’t send us all you have incase it gets lost in the post. This advise extends to milk,  hair and cord inclusions. We would hate for you to lose the entire cord, or lock of baby's first hair as this is truly irreplaceable if it is lost by Royal Mail.

If in doubt about the amount you have compared to what we have requested. Please get in touch and we can advice you.  

Once you have sent your Inclusion Kit, we should receive it within a few days and notify you via email or message to let you know we have it.

Relax its over to us

We will get to work crafting your bespoke jewellery, and will keep you updated on its progress, so all you have to do is sit back and relax. Once the order is ready we will get in contact to let you know the item has been dispatched. We will also include a tracking number for you to keep for your own reference.
